I happen to have little broken Alesis Midiverb II.
I also have Virtualizer from Behringer and dont like how it sounds and
now I would like to know how Alesis compares to this Virtualizer?

If its any better, decent or even good for big reverb sounds I fix it.

Not really worth it!
I doubt it will sound better, just different and you are better to get
something a touch better (tc M300 for example)

I don't understand why this is still Alesis's flagship efx unit. It was
good stuff when it came out over a decade ago, but it has been
surpassed in both price and sampling rate by many competitiors, notably
Lexicon and TC Electronics. Time to modernize, Alesis.

Midiverb II came out almost two decades ago and has been surpassed by many
models from the same house.

It's still a rather funky cheap reverb/fx unit. If you already have a couple
of good main processors and in contrast to that only need something cheap
and cheerful to add spice to an element within the mix, more often than not
you'd find a preset or two that's up to the task. That it's preset-only and
no editing possible always seemed to be a blessing in diguise to me.
Especially since navigating through the well-organized preset banks is a
breeze. You may never need the manual, but the original presets chart is
quite handy.

It's not supposed to be your main reverb, though.
