I'm at a loss at what to do. Earlier this morning, I recieved a BSOD out of nowhere, my laptop booted normally, and I decided to play a game. After starting the game, I realized it was running much slower then it was the night before, and I realized that my Nividia gpu was missing from Device manager.

I followed some guides with fixes, but have not had much luck yet.

I uninstalled the Nividia drivers, and attempted to reinstall them from Dell's website, but they are unable to detect the hardware.

The Geforce GTX card shows up in Bios as the discrete card, but I am unable to make it appear anywhere else.

I have tried using FN + F5 to swap to discrete graphics, and have tried to reinstall the drivers multiple times.

Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

Solution
I managed to solve the issue after about a day of screwing around with stuff.

For those who stumble upon this topic, wondering what I did, I think I can narrow the fix down to this:

Since the GPU showed in BIOS, I knew it was still active in the computer.

1. I used DDU (in safe mode) to completely remove the nividia drivers.

2. From here, I went on Dell's website, and downloaded the default nividia drivers.

3. After using DDU, the drivers were able to detect the card, and install normally.

I have tested a game, and the fps is 50-70 higher then it was prior, so it definitely appears to have worked.

I should also note, that before all this, I updated Bios and my chip sets, as well as about 90 windows updates, but it seems like the...
