Solved! alienware m14x R2 screen upgrade

hi, im wondering if anyone can help me out

i have an alienware m14x r2 that i would like to keep as the specs are pretty decent for a laptop, but the screen is dieing and i would like to upgrade it instead of sticking with 900p

obviously connection cable would need to change, but would it perhaps be possible to find a 1080p panel that would fit this laptop? im not in the know atall but i find it hard to believe there are no 1080p panels that would fit into this thing.

i doubt dell/alienware provide a 1080p replacement for the m14x r2.the newer 14 inch model do have a 1080p screen though but might have a different connection/layout.
