Question Alienware M15 r2 turned off and will not turn back on but power light lights up

My Alienware m15 r2 turned off today randomly and it won’t turn back on. I’ve tried to press the power button with it unplugged, plugged in, and even with the internal battery disconnected. When I plug it into the wall, the AC adapter light stays on and the Alienware power logo turns on and changes colors as if it is charging normally, yet the computer itself will not turn on.

Maybe a bad BIOS? I’ve heard that removing the CMOS could be a fix.

Similar issue with my m15 R3. Not certain but I think latest firmware was culprit. I fixed by unplugging and removing battery. Also had to hold fn key while turning on. Computer turned on and ran some diagnostics.
