Hi guys, i've been researching for alienware gaming laptops for a while, i just want a laptop that looks good, and will last awhile. After getting quote of the laptop it was originally £1850 😵 i went to "Live Chat" and ask them for a good deal, aften an hour they came back with quote of £1560, but after that i still managed to go down £100 more 😀 :) I like the laptops looks, customizable lights on keyboard and all over laptop, and overall its great.

I was wondering, is it worth buying such a laptop?
How long will it run games on highest graphics?
What's the expected life span?

Laptops have a far shorter lifespan than desktops do for gaming in terms of upgrade factors. When you take that out they have a far shorter lifespan.

I'm personally not a fan of Alienware (I loathe Dell), and I'd suggest something like an NP9170 or a rebranded version like the MSI GX series.

I don't think that configuration is worth the money. The warranty is too short. But it's not a terrible deal if prices are higher in the UK than in the US.

Also, Alienware will release its new models in less than a week.

Thanks for the reply,

It makes common sense that desktops last longer. But Dell said lifespan around 5-7years, and i have no space for desktop either, which laptop are you talking about here??

Thanks

Not sure, but i can insure it with my bank easily after 1 year.

How do you know they will release new models?? source??
