Alternative Internet Options

I live in a section that has xfinity internet but for years its been a battle and they can never resolve the issue. There doesn't seem to be much choice in the area. What are my options? And would a Hot Spot help. I work from home and we stream movies.

If you're thinking about creating a Hotspot on your mobile phone, consider the cost. Streaming films will run up huge bills and if the PC connected to the Hotspot needed Microsoft updates you're welcome to pay for that download.

If it isn't private, what's the battle about?
