Amazon Fire TV & Surround Sound

I recently bought an Amazon Fire TV box and using the apps on there. I am only getting Stereo sound or Dolby Pro Logic II. How do I get Dolby digital and my surround sound to be fully used? I have a Samsung 4K TV, Pioneer Elite VSX-31 receiver. I currently have the HDMI from my receiver to my TV and the HDMI from my Fire TV to my receiver.

Sounds like you will need to explore the settings in the Fire TV.
