Amazon Prime Video

I have amazon prime on my LG tablet and now I can not close the app. I should be able to swipe left and have it close, but no such luck. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get it to close? It is draining my battery way to fast because it runs all the time unless I power off my tablet.

Try holding down the back button. I have a few apps that do that on my phone

I will try that. It is charging now. Having that thing run all the time drains my battery far to fast.
