In October Amazon announced that the company would start shipping the Kindle outside the United States. Today the online retailer revealed that the Kindle's bigger but younger brother, the Kindle DX is also going global.

I'm not paying several hundred dollars for a ebook reader, were I still have to pay for the books anyways.

Guess what? My local book store sells books at about $10 each, and that's just fine for me...

$500? Lol, I'd prefer to spend $400 on a cheap laptop that can play music, play video, browse inet and even play games. Get real. $500. Pfft.
