Hello.
I've got a Dell Inspiron 15R 5521 laptop and it has 2 graphics card, Intel HD4000 and AMD Radeon 8730M.
It's been already 3 years I'm using this laptop and every time I format windows I'm getting messed up with AMD video card drivers.
If i download amd 8730M video card driver from dell official website, everything seems to be OK until I try to find catalyst control center. It doesn't get installed with the 8730m driver, so I just can't use the switchable graphics options and I have to play games with intel 4000HD.
I can't download the driver from AMD official website, because there I can only find AMD 8500/8700M driver. If I install it, I get the ccc ( Catalyst Control Center ) and I can use switchable graphics option, but windows starts crashing randomly.
So, untill last week (during these 3 years) somehow I managed to fix problem this way:
1) Installed 8500/8700M driver.
2) with amd uninstall manager I uninstalled ONLY video card driver and left ccc and other amd stuff.
3) I installed 8730M driver from dell website.
The problem got fixed because I had the right driver (8730M) and ccc both.
But last week this did not help.
If i install 8730M, ccc disappears.
If i install 8500/8700M, windows crashes randomly.
Help me, please.
