I want a PC that is better for video editing (for Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop etc.)

I'm not sure if I should keep my current laptop:
Processor:Inter i3-2350M (CPU @ 2,3GHz)
RAM: 4GB
64-Bit
465GB

Or, if I should purchase this PC: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QUAD-CORE-GAMING-PC-DESKTOP-TOWER-AMD-A8-4-2Ghz-16GB-1TB-WINDOWS-7-PRO-/331430671300?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d2aceb3c4
Processor: AMD A8 6600K (CPU @ 3.9GHZ (4.2GHz Overclocked) )
Memory: 16GB
64-Bit
1TB

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for a PC that is good for video editing and under £330 (GBP-British Pound).

Also, can someone please explain to me what is Overclocked.

I am looking forward to your answers.
Thank you very much.

Hello thanks for the reply.

Can you please explain how the other PC is better, because the other PC has higher CPU, RAM and storage. Thanks

Does this website build the PC for you and does it ship to the UK. Also, the CPU on that is lower than my current PC. Can you also explain how it would be useful for video editing?

Thanks.

I'm afraid I am very tight on the budget. Could you please link me one that is under £400, also could you please answer my previous question.

Thanks for the help.

The PC Part Picker is a web site that lets you select compatible parts for your chosen CPU. It is a price and parts comparison. Let me see if I can get any links for you for UK.

And about the parts, this is an 8 Core AMD CPU with high performance compared to i3. It is widely used for video editing and rendering in India where I am. A few of my friends are using this spec.

I'm not familiar with your mobile i3 cpu but I will say you cannot compare cpu's based on their Ghz, there is a lot more to it. Your best to try and review benchmarks, there are loads of benchmarks around for video editing softwate

I just really need a PC will edits videos better than my current one, as it is very slow at editing and rendering.

Hello, thank you very much.
So all I have to is buy a mother board case, and if I send it to a PC Tech Shop will they assemble the PC for me?

Total cost would be GBP 412. If you have any discount coupons, you can use that to reduce this price in ebay.
