AMD A8-6600K vs Intel i3-2350M (For Video Editing) ?

I want a PC that is better for video editing (for Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop etc.)

I'm not sure if I should keep my current laptop:
Processor:Inter i3-2350M (CPU @ 2,3GHz)
RAM: 4GB
64-Bit
465GB

Your current rig is better than the A8. Its CPU cores are not that powerful. If you do need to increase your video editing capacity, I would suggest go for either i5 or AMD FX 8370E.

Try this built. It may cost a bit. But will do well. Also remove any component you may already have and which you could refurbish for this new rig. (Remove them from this list. )

And about the parts, this is an 8 Core AMD CPU with high performance compared to i3. It is widely used for video editing and rendering in India where I am. A few of my friends are using this spec.

I'm not familiar with your mobile i3 cpu but I will say you cannot compare cpu's based on their Ghz, there is a lot more to it. Your best to try and review benchmarks, there are loads of benchmarks around for video editing softwate
