walmarty has a HP laptop with ae2 processor 4gb ram and 500 gb hard drive for $348. 00 Is this a good buy? I don't know anything about a visions E2 processor and how it compares to an I3 or a amd6 that I see in ther laptops.
The E2 is a low-power part with 80 Radeon cores. It would be high-end for a netbook, lower mid-range for a laptop and low-end for a desktop. It should do most things well and be able to run most modern games at low settings at 18 or so unique fps (the original Doom ran at about 16 on a 486 DX2/66).

Solidly low of the low range. Weaker than any pentium/celeron. Good in a netbook. Pretty weak in a laptop.
