Amplifier or Sound Card ?

I am not a audiophile but I do love to have a deep rich bass and rich levels as I listen to music, game, and watch movies. I'm wondering what is the best way to get these rich sounds through the 350 Special Edition's. Is a sound card or an amplifier the best route in savory sounds ? And if the answer is either a sound card or an amplifier, what is the model and brand of this particular item ?

Also these headphones are at 150 ohms and apparently they sound horrible and tinny without a soundcard or a headphone amplifier.

The best solution is a dac headphone amp that plugs into a usb port. They start around $150.

The USB stick type DACs are not really great headphone amps so will not solve that issue although the quality of the sound will be better. Post you question on the headfi.org forum to see what will power your headphones best.
