The bad part about this, is that they sold a pre-owned phone as new. And were dumb enough not to wipe it. It's not like she got a factory new phone with porn on it.

You would think that with all the reports like this and from Best Buy of people returning computers and phones and they re-box them up and put them back on the shelf.

Ive worked in retail and any electronic item (computer, flash drive, camera, etc) that was opened when returned we ship it right back to the vendor. We wernt going to take any chances with anything being on the device or a customer complaining that the item was used/opened.

Little common sense goes a long way, too bad so many have so little of it.

yea she was so embarrassed, reminds me of the british women who was so upset because the google maps car caught her naked kid outside in the street. She wasn't upset enough to keep her kid from running around naked in the middle of the street but when he was inadvertently photographed on maps she was horrified and upset, people need to get real and quit acting like spoiled brats.

PS: the only real bad thing is that she bought a new phone and got a second hand one...As for her what ifs; if you bought it for your kid: why did you buy a kid such a nice phone in the first place?, what if you bought it for a gift/the person was religious: Im hoping that the person is an adult and would be able to get over the fact that it has some nudity on it (except it is suppose to be new...)

burocrat did say giving it to your kid, that implies that the kid did not pay for it themselves... So I do agree with him (just not as harshly). Although if the kid bought it themselves (and payed for the fees) then have a great time with a nice phone
