I do completely agree with you that the problem is both sides. The people need to be more informed, and the institutions need to have fair business practices. However, where do the people go to become informed? Public schooling is funded by the government, which is bought by the corporation/bank. Mass Media is controlled by the exact same interests. What we have is a situation where almost all the information is being controlled and hidden/disguised, or censored if you wish to call it that, by the institutions.

When the people have been indoctrinated from birth to believe the crap that they are taught by the institutions, you can hardly fault them for making decisions based on what they believe to be true being true. The fault lies with the entities responsible for withholding the relevant information and spreading misinformation.

The mortgage fraud was orchestrated by all major lending institutions, and the subsequent debt they created, which is vastly larger than the actual mortgage debt that it began with, is fraudulent. The banks are guilty of fraud, and have been caught red-handed as such. What did our government do as a result? We printed and gave them billions and billions of dollars. This was all part of a larger plan, it was just another step to bankrupt the American people and strip us of our sovereignty.

As it stands right now, the only place you can really get valid information is through the internet, and that is getting harder all the time through their attempts at controlling and censoring the internet, and through their own spread of misinformation through this medium as well.

I would not condone simply hacking their website, that would be meaningless and infantile. Hacking into their networks and retrieving proof of their crimes is another story. Getting truthful information and distributing it as far as possible should be their goal.

[citation][nom]bigoldbrute[/nom]What is this - some hacker popularity contest now ? Those "nazis" just gather together, speak trash and go home. I doubt any of them could do real damage, like killing someone. Those anonymous kids are just wasting their time, please go back to listening Justin Bieber.[/citation]

Actually they recently uncovered a neo-nazi "terror cell" in Germany that is responsible for a series of murders from 2000 to 2006. (8 turkish and 1 greek immigrant)

Attacking neo-nazi websites doesn't help anyone though. It probably just affirms their belief that their ideology is right.

Unfortunately, hacking the networks is not getting truth out. They are not finding out things like balance rearrangement, and things of that sort. There are all kinds of crap that banks separate us from our money but banks are part of a financial system. The people who do well in the system are the people that know how to do basic things like understand their financial statement and calling them out on some of these issues. If you have to use a system, if you understand how to use it you will be fine, if not then you will have some problems. This applies to damn near everything including using your computer.

You comment about how we get the information is absolutely correct as well. But in a time where if you don't have internet access at home you could go next door or go to the library and get it and read as much as you can it is still a resource that is reasonably accessible.

I just purchased my first home 4 years ago.... I went through the whole process with my wife and I read everything I could from the Internet and talking with friends and family, and comparing everything a agent tells me with other sources. What I ended up with is a home where I paid 50 cents on the dollar for, and a locked in mortgage at %4.75 for 30 years. That was all homework and asking questions and taking my time. That is also being reasonable about my budget and looking researching and looking for value without sacrificing quality. It is a process. You have to have some patience, and pay attention to details and you will be just fine.

I am not advocating hacking their networks for any purpose other than getting the truth out. I also realize not every person was given a fraudulent loan. The point is that they were TRYING as hard as they could to give out as many mortgage loans as they possibly could. This was orchestrated on a huge scale, even down to the city zoning and planning committees approving the mass build up of homes to be sold fraudulently, with each person blindly doing what they were told to do by the person higher up the chain.

There are thousands and thousands of foreclosed homes now that the banks are just sitting on, and even if you could afford your home and paid your loans... you have still been robbed by the subsequent drop in real estate value. There are also thousands of homes that did not get sold, and are just sitting empty and derelict. The effects of this bubble are being felt in so many ways, across many markets, and will be felt for a long time. The damage cannot simply be undone. It cannot be magically rectified. And our government PAID the banks for doing what they did to us.

I can blame the people for not knowing better, and trusting what their government and their banks tell them, or I can blame the government and banks for willfully misleading the people and keeping them in the dark. I can blame the banks and lawyers for writing contracts that are intentionally hard to understand and misleading.

Did you know that there are people who have not missed a payment on their mortgage, but received foreclosure letters from 2-3 banks who had absolutely nothing to do with their mortgage whatsoever? There are people who received letters from 6 different banks to foreclose on their house except for the one who should be foreclosing on them.

When you took on the mortgage, the bank put your mortgage into a system called MERS. Once in MERS, the mortgage was grouped in with all the other mortgages, and rolled into bundles of mortgages to be used for selling mortgage-backed securities. Because of this, and because of the subsequent failure of the debtors to pay (which was planned), the banks increased the money that they were owed, through credit default swap agreements and all kinds of shenanigans, by over a hundred fold. The debt that was created is more money than exists globally. It is impossible to pay off, and they are using these impossibly large debts to bankrupt countries. This is FRAUDULENT debt and our government is holding the public responsible for paying it off (that is what a government bailout is, pretty much).

Sheesh.... Nazi's no longer exist. Now, if you mean nationalist fundamentalists and racial separatists, then Anonymous could include the Israeli government ministers in their attacks. Somehow I doubt that will happen.

Well better this than Anon attacking another bank, passing costs down to everyone who borrows or saves at the istutation, because Anon is a buch of short sighted teens who can't bother a simple look up of why the banks made loans like that (How many of them could tell you what the CRA is without looking it up? Even if you refereed to it by the full name?). If they did, websites like maxinewaters.org ("we do not have a crisis at Freddie Mac"), barneyfrank.net (because I'm screwing a staff member there!) or the "advocacy" groups that forced banks to make these loans would have been defaced long ago.

[citation][nom]rawful[/nom]They did report on when Anonymous released that information, as I recall. I disagree with their reasoning for that attack, they had far better causes to take on, and better targets than the police who have to enforce the laws that are made by crooked politicians.[/citation]

Yeah, because cops are never crooked...

[citation][nom]rawful[/nom]I was all for Anonymous and their activities, but this is just silly. Take down the banks and the corporations. Use your skills to actually do good, and help fix the system. Release the confidential information you obtain, show the world what the governments are really up to.[/citation]
they don't have to it's right on PBS and CSPAN
MILITARY TO INDEFINITELY DETAIN INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT CHARGE OR TRIAL, INCLUDING THE DETENTION OF US CITIZENS ON US SOIL. IN SHORT, WHAT THIS BILL ...

I don't care what the Nazis (may) have done; if Anonymous claims to uphold freedom and what not then they should respect the right for ultra-rightists to voice their opinion...in their own corner of the internet.

This is why I find Anonymous to be just a hypocritical bunch of people that need to feel like they're doing something. It's Slacktivism at its height.

Hey everybody, am I the only one who noticed that all the names and phone numbers ar Spanish, like from people from Spain? What in the world do they have to do with Nazis from Germany? Anyone?...

[citation][nom]10tacle[/nom]I will never understand you people with that mentality. If you don't have money in a bank you hate, sit down and STFU. Likewise, if you aren't an investor in stocks in a corporation you hate, sit down and STFU. Those entities aren't there for YOUR pleasure. They are there for THEMSELVES and their investors. I also find it humorous how you people love to buy the products and services from those big old evil corporations. Watching the OWS moonbats text on their iPhones and Droids and then bitch about the so-called "greed" of corporations is a sight to behold.[/citation]
The problem is that they're so huge you hardly have a choice, they literally control everyone's lives, everyone's government. They're at the top of the pyramid, they rule the world. You need medication? You have to buy it from the big pharmaceutical companies and drug stores who control the market and overprice drugs. Need a car? There's the oil companies rising prices on purpose and car companies purposely making lower quality cars. Then we have information and communication companies such as Google, Facebook, Verizon, AT&T, etc - all these bend your private and personal information over and stick it so deep you don't even feel it. There's practically no industry that is not untouched by the dark hand of the corporations.

[citation][nom]NuclearShadow[/nom]I think it is sort of amusing that Anonymous leaks information regarding this and the NPD start shaking in fear. How could one claim their ideology is the correct path and the turn around and be cowards about it? If they truly believed their path is right Anonymous wouldn't have had to leak information on individuals and companies in the first place.[/citation]

isn't it something like a 5 year prison sentence for nazi stuff in germany? prison would ruin anyone on politics.

[citation][nom]rawful[/nom]They did report on when Anonymous released that information, as I recall. police have the ability to look the other way, i don't know what that is about, but i do know at least where i live, most things are treated as a we don't care as long as you aren't hurting other people. except this one douche of a cop who camps out by a moved speed sign that no one was informed was being moved, and hands out tickets.

You're not trying hard enough ... no, you are not trying at all and you are incapable of understanding all the connections here so STFU.

Two examples for you.
1) Goldman Sachs (frauds) makes all the wrong decisions and goes down - people responsible are getting away with lots of money, government decides to bail them out (because of the connection between gov. and them and not your well being) and you end up paying for all that even if you have nothing to do with them.

2)You see that LEGO bricks are too expensive in your region and start making your own bricks that are compatible with LEGO but much cheaper and have different themes (to avoid copyright bullshit). LEGO will do everything to stop you both legal and illegal ways and if you are too small then you won't survive.

"Because of a massive increase of hacker attacks against our site we decided to switch to a highly secure operating system,"

And what would that be? Everything can be hacked...

[citation][nom]Marco925[/nom]And nazi propaganda ISN'T Criminal in germany? Somebody's got its head lose or something[/citation]

It sure is. But like the so called Neo Nazis in the USA, there are ways to modify your message just enough to slip bye. It's like race discrimination; if you use the 'politically correct term' for a minority you are ok, but if you use a racial slur you are not.

No matter what law you come up here, people will find away around it. Some for good and some for evil. That's why Humans are at the top of the food chain. We are VERY flexible in our behavior 🙂
