Any digital FTA feeds not listed on Lyngsat?

Every so often I see something that leads me to believe there is digital
programming on the North American satellites that is not listed with
Lyngsat for one reason or another. I'm wondering if these feeds are listed
anywhere, or even if anyone would be willing to send me their personal
list. I am particularly interested in FTA feeds that are legal to view, in
English, and on C or Ku-band satellites visible from North America. I'm
using a Pansat 2500A with the original factory firmware.

If you don't want to post a list to the newsgroup but would be willing to
send it privately, please send it to the following address, but first
please remove the 2 instances of the number 2: bird2watcher [AT]
thebig82.net (also please don't get spooked by the address, that is a
personal e-mail address and I do not work for or otherwise provide any
information to any broadcasters or other media people - anything you send
will be used only for my personal use, and if you send any MLB feeds, those
would be used to tune in games for my elderly mother who loves to watch
baseball. And remember, there are no number 2's in the real e-mail
address).

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

You can find them yourself with the 2500, it's the best way.
You should join the wildfeed mailing lists as well, maybe someone will
post the links as I have lost them in a computer crash.

Post em! I've never understood why everyone thinks the programmers are
too dumb to turn on the encryption...

Intelsat 6 KU frequently has feed video for local news crews around the
country. If you have a blind search receiver do searches any time there
might be local news airing around the country - in the mornings, around
noon, between 4 & 7 and 9 to 11 pm (all time zones).

Yahoogroups has an email group (MPEGbackhauls) that will email backhaul
feed info of sporting and other special events to you as it's happening.

Take care,
Rich

Well one thing is for sure, noone is going to send you a personal
email with that spam block. You have the best receiver for finding
hidden feeds. Use your Pansat 2500's smart search to find them.
Seriously though, almost everything is listed on lyngsat, satcodx or
satforums already.

Wrong, 100% of speaking people have above average intelligence when
compared to a guerilla.

Relative to what is the question? Rourke is a dork!

bAHHH, bs.

I am seriously considering a LS like site with current and real info
regarding all known DVB FTA and DCII feeds.
The need is these.

So, guerillas are people too...is that what your saying?

Half the people in the world are above average in
their dorkiness. As evidenced.

Consider the following group of people:

Name IQ
Joe 60
Bill 180
Sue 180
Jen 180

Average intelligence: (60+180+180+180)/4 = 600/4 = 150

Looks like more than half have above average intelligence in this example.

If you had read my original message carefully, you would have found a
useable e-mail address in there. Those who feel it's beneath them to
un-mung an e-mail address must have all the time in the world to deal with
spam, but I don't. Anyway, I'd much rather see replies posted to the group
to begin with, but I got the feeling that some people think that if they
post feeds to the group they will disappear, which is the only reason I
even made the attempt to give an e-mail address in the first place.

So, if you feel you can't post to the group, and you can't reply to me
privately unless I give you an e-mail address in a form that would be easy
pickings for every automated spam harvester out there, then have a nice
life - I'll get by without the information somehow.

I honestly don't buy this. Soon I will have the capacity of blind
scanning every sat from 137w to 22W automatically and logging it
directly to my fancy database. I have been considering putting up the
info on a much needed site., I have a 12ft Paraclipse with an H2H
connected to a Vbox2 for this project.

How long did the porn last on T7? Everyone and their brother knew for
a year.

Most times these feeds are temporary as EVERYONE damn well knows, and
the operators of this equipment are not so dumb as to forget to turn
on the encryption.
I have always felt the owners only section of 4dtv was bunk, and I
think keeping feeds secret is bunk. How come none of the analog stuff
went VC2+ for the last twenty years?

Someone needs to make alt.video.satellite.mpeg-dvb.wildfeeds

Perhaps I will do it to avoid making a stupid site. Maybe I will just
post here.

I suppose I should finish simulating the commands needed through the
UHF port and get this party started.

Thanks for reminding me just why I thought of this in the first place!

Montana PBS is still there. I watch it all the time. It is on AMC3 at
12085H.

..... and it is listed at http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/United-States.html

We lost the BBC News because some idiot CALLED them. They had NO CLUE
it was in the clear until they were alerted to it. This was ITC for a
long time.

Do you have proof it wasn't dropped because their fiber backbone was
completed or something like that?
I'm the guy who called and got the porn turned off on T7! Damn CG!!

That's what I get for not being in the owners only forum!

I wish you could automate scanning DCII with a 4200v. No one has
figured that as of yet, right?? Or with anything else?

I'm sorry, but I can't imagine the originators would otherwise have no
clue that their broadcast could be received by a home viewer unless
they found that information out on the internet. You might have been
able to sell that idea years ago, but nowadays everybody knows that
whether or not they're encrypted, someone, somewhere may be "on the
line" and seeing it all.
