Hello,

My fan motor malfuntioned on my HP. I spoke to HP about replacing the motor. At the same time there was a line on my screen that they were willing to send the tech out to fix.

They never helped me with the fan motor vibration and heating up problem.

I started getting a sharp pain in my left hand that was over the motor. My finger is now num. I get sharp pains that are intermitent. I need to type for my livelyhood. I am a realtor. I am having severe problems typing. I never had a problem with my hand. I've been to two doctors and I am scheduled for tests this week.

Any sugestions on how to handle this would be appreciated.

LOL. So are you attempting to blame your hand problem on your HP fan? If that is the case then I would suggest you get the same lawyer Kramer (Jackie Chiles) used. He may be able to help you out.

Vice getting HP to resolve your physical issues, you might want to consider using voice recognition software to assist in some of your typing needs. My wife uses Dragon NaturallySpeaking to assist her.

I would suggest a split keyboard and maybe even a dictation taking software but beware it does hamper your speed quite a bit and takes a bit of time getting used to
N as for your other problem contact the HP tech support they would be able to help u out

And HP has a history of overheating problems if you would specify more I would be able to find out if it is common to the device range you bought or just a one off problem
