Any way to fix this type of dent?

The laptop is an Acer Swift 3
Here are some pictures of the dent. Not sure how this happened was given to me by my uncle for school. In the process of talking to newegg/acer for warranty but the issue being it was bought refurbished.

There will be no warranty resolution on this unless they just WANT to be super cool about it. Refurbs are always purchased with a disclaimer based on a letter grade as to what manner of damage you should expect to see. If the machine works properly they won't do anything.

That's doesn't look like a defect in the laptop.... It's damage - like maybe it was dropped - which wouldn't be covered b warranty

Warranty will not cover that. If its not affecting your ability to use the laptop then dont worry about it.

The only way to fix it is to remove the top and bend it back to its original position. It must be removed because the metal will flex before it deforms and you must bend it beyond what is possible while it is still in place.
