Anyone know how to change the processor settings for windows 8.1 on the advanced boot section of msconfiguration and could hel

On the misconfiguration settings I clicked on the boot section, after that I changed my computer to run on 1 processor instead of 2. My laptop is quad core so has four, however now it is only showing I have one processor and cannot change it back. my laptop is seriously struggling and will not do much, any idea's to be able to change it back?

What happens when you try to change it back? You can try to set the BIOS to factory defaults, that may fix it.
