App to control fan connected to USB port

This may be a crazy question but is there an app that would let me control the power to a USB port?
I have a simple USB fan that I bought from target that fits inside my PC case that really helps in cooling my PC but I would like to be able to get it to power up or down in some way that I could control.

Mostly I would like it to power down when I put the PC to sleep or when I shut down the PC. Is this doable?

I'm running a W7 64 bit PC.

Nope, can't do this unless you want to disable the thing in Device Manager. This is a horrible way to do what you want though, just get another case fan. You don't want a loose fan with a usb cord inside your case.

Actually it works quite well, and for $9.
I'll just continue to power it on and off manually.
