App won't uninstall

Why won't my Galaxy S7 let me uninstall the email app

Many, if not most, apps that are preinstalled by the manufacturer and/or carrier/service provider, are not meant to be uninstalled. They want them there. That doesn't mean you are resigned to using them. You can always install your own choice of app for things.

If you are trying to make room, then I suggest you move all photos, videos, music, etc., to an SD card. That will clear up a lot of space. Also make sure you clear the history and cache for most apps you use often. That takes up more and more space.
