Would it have been a self-driving car, just like the Google Driverless Car project that Mountain View is working on?
It probably would and would of course be 'Magical'...then Apple would sue Google for their iteration and attempt to have it banned from all the countries in the world, failing in spectacular style but trying none the less 🙂 lol
How much would it cost?
A helluva lot more than anything else on the market and more than was reasonable to expect to pay for it, however because of it's neat design and 'Magical' features like iDoors that open and close to allow entry and iLocks to keep them closed, not to mention the 'Magical' iWheels that allow it to mystically get you to where you were going (while tracking you, recording you and selling every piece of info gleamed to interested parties, behind your back)
How many Apple gadgets would be integrated into the dash?
None at all, however with the 'Magical' iConnection (Propriety connection that only works on Apple products) they force you to buy all the other overpriced iTat they sell and 'Magically' add their functionality to the iCar
Who would Apple partner with on such a project?
Anyone Apple damn well want, although they have to be cheaper than cheap to keep the costs down, at any expense to the manufacturers and workers, to keep the profit margin as high as possible even though Apple will be overcharging on every iCar/iProduct sold.
The more and more I think about Apple as a Corporation it saddens me and fills me with despair every time I see a new market desecrated by them.
Don't get me wrong, if they played fair, I would probably have some of their products as I do admire their designs. I just feel that they are perverting the open market with their business practices and seemingly blatantly getting away with it.
How can it be right that a company adopts any brand name it wants, regardless of who actually owns the rights to it, then fights to keep it in court, usually throwing money at the problem to make it go away through Settlements.
How can it be right that a company uses any design and features it likes in a product, even patent protected features, Patents any features or design they can get away with, even if they are already patented, then sets about aggressively suing every company who make similar products for design and feature infringements while 'Editing' evidence like size of the device, locations of buttons on the device, size, resolution and even aspect ratio of the screen to make it look closer to the design that it's infringing on (Co..Samsung..ough, Cough!!!). Why can't they just compete with price, features, design and desirability like all the other companies? Why do they feel the need to attempt to get a stranglehold in any market the decide to enter? Other companies may feel the need to fight fire with fire and adopt similar strategies and then I shudder to think what the market would be like then? No products of any type on sale due to all the patent infringement cases churning through the courts and the resulting aftermath!
