What feature will the iPad 3 not have, but the iPad 4 will? Hopefully people are not buying new ones just for the Retina display.

While I think the display is enough for me to upgrade from the iPad 1. I really hope the rumors are wrong about the A5X being in it instead of the A6. But I fear they are true in typical Apple fashion why put a feature in now and give people better value when you can add it later and charge them again.

Sweet! I get to watch my AAPL shares skyrocket even more using the Stocks app on my beloved Transformer Prime!

I am so tired of reading about Apple. But it beats looking at Steve Jobs' picture.... Yeah it could be worse---Imagine having to use an Apple product.

I can't wait to watch the event, lol. At a minimum, I want to see my stock go up too, lol. And As alot of people were upset and wanted to upgrade from the TF Prime, to the 1920 TF Prime.. I foresee some people doing the same thing. Haters be hatin. Not very well, and ignorantly, but hating nonetheless. It's all they can do. Tom's should start a charity for them? ;P

Is someone holding a gun to your head forcing you to click on the articles and read them.... If so you may want to contact the police.

Apple has a twisted sense of humor.

Sending out the invites during Eric Schmidt's turn on the stage at the Google Keynote at MWC. He was probably wondering why people were so busy looking at their phones instead of listenting to him.

Mass Effect 3 gets released the day before, so I'll be too busy saving Earth from the Reapers to care about the iPad.

I've actually used an iPad2 and it beats any other tablet on the market. I hate Apple but you can't knock the iPads. If W8 tablets weren't right around and the iPad3 came with LTE I'd probably pick one up.

HEY BUDDY!

I tried an Ipad2 and an Asus Transformer Prime. Both second generation products.

The Asus Prime smokes and destroys the Ipad2 without breaking a sweat. Ipad2 looks like a locked toy compared to the Prime. Now sit down fanboy!

Well we have to assume a certain level of bias when your name is AsusandSamsungFTW. Not sure how you thought that calling him a fanboy when your name gives away what solution your supporting. At least otacon72 gave it a shot even though he hates Apple. At the end of the day, good stuff is good stuff and if you put aside the flag waiving and take a good look you might be surprised that 99% of the what you where told about Apple was not all that accurate.

Lets compare the Asus Prime (released December 2011 - 2 months ago) to the year-old iPad 2 (to be replaced next week with a faster model):

GPU:

http://images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph5163/42761.png

Performance is still not quite up to par with the iPad 2, but if we look at GLBenchmark's Egypt test Tegra 3 doesn't do too bad.

Battery:

While some may argue that it's disappointing to still see battery life numbers below the iPad 2, at least we finally have something more competitive.

CPU:

So a very slight (and probably imperceptible) CPU performance hike, but losing at everything else by larger margins.

And it was released 9 months later...

So what exactly is 'smoked'?

"I've used a single tablet and it beats any other tablet that I've never held in hands".
iZombie much?

He didn't say this.

I wish these people would go outside and play with their kids or find someone to have kids with. Waiting and spending money on gadgets just to tell everyone see what I got is beat to death. If you need it to browse the web, books, RDP, and VDI desktops then fine. But a new one over and over? Knowing people do purchase the same s$@# over and over I have an idea for my own product...
