Meh this just means they're giving other smart phones a chance to pick up the smut apps and all the adults that want the freedom to do what they want with a several hundred dollar piece of technology.

Is this a matter of censorship, control, or good taste? Is Apple thinking about children using the apps? Inquiring minds want to know.
I don't use any Apple products so it does not affect me.

I wonder when they'll restrict the browser on the iPhone. Why did I buy an iPhone? ::sigh:: At least I can play pocket god to get my arousal on.

They already restrict the browser with no flash content.

I recently went on an Apple forum of some sort looking for information on how to get Linux to connect to an iPod Touch and when I seen the CORNY.. I mean COOOORNY "lingo" there about how they had to use Windows (BARF) to get something done, it made me sick. To come here and see the same crap in comments is just as sickening. Love the articles though! Cmon, don't be like a bunch of flaming 12 year olds.. and if you ARE 12, think before you rant about how bad Apple is. Just like your gonna tell me, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T USE IT.

well we all know where those app are going to go now. Android where there is the freedom to make a app without fear of the apple hammer dropping down on you.

No. I'm sure he bought the iphone to do whatever he wants and if he is an adult and chooses to look at adult material, then he should be allowed to do so.

There is no justifiable reason for Apple to restrict content like this. If they are worried about minors, then put an age verification system in place at the time of purchase.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is on the "Featured" page on the iPhone App Store. It's also on the "Top Free" section of the Top 25.

I guess bare ass women covering up their lovelies with their hands doesn't count as sexually arousing.

Really thought what has Apple accomplished? Are people going to stop looking at porn or "sexually arousing" material on their iPhones? There are over 75 iPhone porn sites. Unless you also ban your own Safari web browser from iPhones you haven't accomplished anything.
