[citation][nom]groveborn[/nom]You know, if you look at signs concerning loud music, it's not a boom box anymore, it's a ipod. Think about that.[/citation]

That's funny, you make it look like crApple invented the PMP. Which they didn't. You also make it look like crApple made PMPs popular. They didn't. What crApple did succeed in doing- via heavy marketing- was getting everyone to call PMPs "iPods" instead of Personal Music Players. Which is what an iPod is. Not the other way around.

Marketing is the ONLY thing crApple does well.

Top 10 things wrong with the iPhone
(its all true!)
10. You have to pay for Apps that are included free with its competitors.
9. It's literally worth half what you pay for it. (100% markup!)
8. All the pictures it takes are yellow
7. It drops calls faster than Mel Gibson hanging up on a "Donate to 'Remember the Holocaust'" call.
6. You can't read the screen in bright sunlight where you are half the time you try to use it.
5. It has a stupid iName.
4. You have to hold it "a certain way."
3. It cracks like a mirror when you drop it.
2. You're part of the "I don't care, I want one" mentality
1. Its an iPhone!

Can't expect anything more from Apple. If it doesn't go your way, censor the hell out of it. The Apple sheeps are usually too blind to notice anyway.

Sometimes I question how we allowed a tyrannical company like Apple to become a major player in the computer industry.

[citation][nom]bv90andy[/nom]And did the admins give a reason for the deleted posts? Usually, on democratic forums an Admin has to give a reason for the deletion of a post[/citation]

Forums aren't usually democratic unfortunately.

The funny thing is that Apple fanboy never learn, they still buy the hardware too early and then they find out that it's not a finalized product.

I wouldn't say they learn anything. They're oblivious to it. I was reading a mac fanboy site a while back in which they were comparing how often their macs crashed to try to show up some Windows users that it was more reliable.

Many Mac users said their computer never crashed. Some said theirs did but when they got a new one, it worked great. One person in particular said that his used to crash, but he found out it was only because he was pulling out the USB memory stick while it was sleeping. He disqualified that as a crash and chalked it up to "I was doing it wrong". Which sounds a lot like "Don't hold the phone that way."

It was a clear bug in the OS that caused a crash, it could have been fixed but never was during the entire time his Mac was crashing and he didn't know why. After that, it wasn't due to the Mac OSX.

If that happened on Windows, it would be immediately chalked up to an OS problem. Even if a 3rd party software app or driver crashes on Windows, it's blamed on Windows.

Fanboy mentality will *always* find a way out of a problem and never count something like that as a fault. After all, their system is perfect. Even the 2nd group of users who said their macs crashed until they got a new one - it was completely acceptable to buy an entirely new mac as a solution and still claim that they had nothing but reliability.
