I hope that's true, not so sure about the Gold iPad rumors though... I don't doubt them, but that just seems stupid, I wouldn't own them.

I also think that the screen resolution for that iMac is unlikely as well as even apple doesn't go for crazy screen resolutions on their computers...

At 27" it's not too far off of the DPI of the rMBPs. On the other hand you're probably sitting farther away from a 27" screen than a 13-15" screen, so lower a lower DPI might be more reasonable.
