[citation][nom]velozzity[/nom]socialism (communism)[/citation]

Everything else you said was great, but please don't buy into that. You sound too well-balanced of a person to let them make you think socialism and communism are the same thing.

Communism is just the next step from socialism.
The difference is that now the government cleans up the shit of the people; with communism there aren't any workers nor money to clean anymore,so the government takes the good too.

[citation][nom]Ramar[/nom]PLEASE do yourself a favor and go watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann so you can grow a brain.[/citation]
Watching the O'Reilly Factor would be needed to balance one out if they also watched Olbermann. The honest way to have an informed and intelligent perspective is to not get your information and form your opinions on just one opinionated-anchor.

Except O'Reilly is a hateful and terrible excuse for a human being, whereas Olbermann has honestly reached the point of tears when discussing patriotism and dead soldiers.

Though I will say that you always should endeavor to hear both sides of a story. Hell, everyone, DO go watch O'Reilly. You'll either realise you're a terrible person like him or never vote republican again.

So, I think we can draw the following from the comments section here:

Ensuring that all Americans have access to healthcare when they are sick: OMG SOCIALISM BAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!!! Much better to have 3rd world-esque diseases spreading like wildfire than to give people a break on the oh-so-reasonable cost of a doctor's visit.

Some people called Obama getting 97% of the black vote as racist... I'm white, and I think there's another way to look at that... Obama's agenda better serves the interests of ALL BUT the top .1% of wealthy neocon fascists, John McCain and (LMAO) Sarah "can't make it through 1 term as governor" Palin serve that .1% of the ultra-wealthy.

Apparently only 3% of blacks are dumb enough to vote against their own best interests... Nearly half of whites are dumb enough to be tricked into voting against their best interests, or are too bigoted and hateful to vote for a black man... The country was already too far gone for Obama to save, but atleast we have someone sane to gently guide the Titanic into an iceberg, rather than crazy old Bush or McCain.

Long live the middle-class....

PS: Bush started the bailouts... Atleast Obama has done a somewhat better job of accounting for the money...

I think most people have been watching too much Fox News, and have become crazy selfish conservatives. Obama is great for America and the world. At last you have a modern president who has a brain.

See, this is why I'm still a Windows user. Under Windows, I have the freedom to install whatever software I want, and my PC is loaded with tons of great open-source apps. Apple on the other hand, wants to control what people can put in their devices (read: App Store, iTunes, etc.).

Ramar you make me laugh.

1st, I have one Master's level degree in Poli Sci, and I'm working on a JD, and I think Obama is the worst president of the century. And that's my objective "educated" opinion. Presidents should not be supporting leftest dictators in South America, running up more debt than we've had in our history combined (and adjusted for inflation), and appointing anti-constitutionalists like Sotomayor, who is his Harriet Miers moment.

Obama is worse than Bush by a longshot, and Bush set the bar pretty low.

2ndly, Olbermann is probably the most hateful and mean journalist I've ever seen. The fact that you mentioned him in a positive sentence ruins your credibility entirely.

3rdly, if coming near tears is your measure of brains and patriotism, Glenn Beck beats the snot out of everyone hands down. So using your own logic, I suggest you go listen to him every night and learn something.

It's just one of them desk accounts that's sick of reviewing Obama images. That kind of people have nothing to do with art or subtle messages and should be fired from such demanding job positions.

I have no problem with Obama, and am pretty darn "leftist" myself, so I guess I'm supposed to like the guy... but, I don't care what the Obama picture says. It could say something racist for all I care. I think a software company censoring things to this degree is absurd. Isn't their job to make money, not censor ideas?

Just one question to Mr. Parrish, is this a tech site or a political site masquerading as a tech site?

If tech is not your thing please move on and write for a site which deals in what really seems to interest you.

LOL i love Americans talking about there president. they elected good ol George W TWICE!!! and he had an IQ of 1 and puts the US into the worst shape sense the great depression and now that the US Citizen finally voted someone in office who can actually read and knows what he is talking about they blame him for all the mess that your former Brain dead President put you people in. so i am betting you will go back to brain dead and vote Palin as president in 2012

What a joke. Hooooopeeee! Chaaaaaange!

I don't feel any different from last year. All I know is that we're spending trillions on bailing bad companies out and "stimulating" the economy - trillions that we will eventually need to pay back or face bankruptcy. Remember the USSR? Their collapse wasn't because we conquered them in battle, their collapse was because they ran up too much debt and went bankrupt. The same could happen to the US and this idiot social worker is doing his damned best to get us there.

captainidiot,

W read more books than you'll ever ignore in your life. R-tards read left-wing media and automatically assume that their portrayal of Bush (Bush = dumb, Obama = saintly) is correct. Obama didn't effing know how many states were in the US. But of course the media ignores those faux pas and plays up the Bush ones.

Like last year, a headline in the AP in November read, "No end in sight as economy loses 100k jobs. Last week, a headline in the same AP read "Economy turning around as job loss is slowing with 300k jobs lost. " Unfreakingbelievable the amount of bias in the media.
