[citation][nom]amk-aka-Phantom[/nom]Yep, there's nothing new. Faster CPU, GPU and a bit better camera - SO?! When SGS2 was released, it gained USB-on-the-Go, bigga screen, LED flash (didn't have before)... THAT's new "stuff". Gaining a few more fps in Angry Birds is not. I wouldn't give a $h!t about Samsung phones, but they kept asking their customers on FB/Twitter/etc. about what they want in a new phone (SGS2) and added it ALL, except battery life - thanks to the stupid thin trend introduced by crApple. THAT is customer loyalty... unlike some other company (Nokia) that asked its customers about what they want in the next phone after N8 and STILL hasn't done it.@ Tom's: here's some actual news you can post instead of chewing on this Siri BS:1) Adobe drops development of Flash Player on mobile devices and invests moar into HTML5 and PC content2) Nokia is going to release a "flagship" device by Q2 2012 which will have ridiculous 1GHz CPU and 512 RAM but will have a great camera3) Mass Effect 3 info leaked along with the beta4) MW3 benchmarks - for teh lulzIn other words, get busy.[/citation]
For many people, a better camera and a much faster phone overall is far more important than using retro outdated technology such as USB on a phone. It also has a much faster dual speed antenna, it can wirelessly synchronise to a television (which the Samsung and indeed almost every Android phone still cannot do), it has embedded iCloud and of course iOS 5 brought lots of software updates too. They also massively increased the storage to 64GB. The improvements to the camera should not be understated either - a massive massive improvement making it one of the best cameras you can get, and adding HD video recording That's before we include Siri. The iPhone 4S is a MUCH much bigger jump from the iPhone than the Samsung Galaxy S2 was from the Galaxy S.
When you can connect it to any wireless network, use bluetooth, email, or use dropbox, having USB connectivity is just ridiculous and pointless - clearly not something the average consumer wants or needs. A bigger screen is very much an incremental change, not a massive change, some people prefer smaller screens and don't want to carry around a brick so that's actually a negative in some cases. As for LED flash, it's only a new feature because of the fact that the first phone was so pathetic to not even have one.
