So Apple advertised Siri as a major feature on the new iPhone 4s, and it's a beta program?

If Microsoft or Google did something like that, do you think the press would give them a pass? Or do you think they would be screaming "how dare these companies make everyone test their beta while selling it as a major feature"?

Just asking.
