Aptio Boot Setup Help!!

(Backround: I'm 15 yr got this computer as a gift never had viruses or extreme ones or anything in that manor this only started happening this week not at all tech savy"


So when ever I turn on my laptop (Asus X555La) it goes straight towards this Aptio boot setup. So I click around and turn on CSM. Then when I go to save changes and exit, it brings up another screen after the reboot saying "Reboot and select proper boot device". Honestly don't know what to do am I missing anything? I can provide pictures .

Hi,

It seems like it's either the HDD or just the operating system that is damaged in your laptop. If you have a System Recovery disc from ASUS for Windows, please use it to reinstall Windows. But if reinstalling Windows will result to the same problem then it's the HDD that is faulty.
