Are LCD TV Power boards interchangeable?

In fault finding I find its quicker sometimes to order the part for £10 instead of going over the TV power board (except for the obvious dry joints/caps etc) to save time. I have a small build up of popular boards. Just wondering if some boards are interchangeable especially when model numbers are the same but rev different. Any advice greatly appreciated I have looked online first but can't find any proper answers thanks

Same model/part numbers, they are probably the same for the most part and the revisions are small changes, better filtering, better caps, etc in a new revision. Best way would be to power them up and test the volts coming out of the pins, see if they are pinout compatible.
