aspire v5 needs help bad

Acer Aspire v5 touch. Broken screen/lights but can't read->Hdmi out to tv(worked)-> system restore for lag and unwanted programs=no video and not responding to touch anymore. Did before. Can hear cd rom spinning. Recognizes some key strokes as I have tried many things and some responses. Can faintly see screen change and it also appears to go to sleep mode but come back on. Screen saver? Back lights work. --- worsthing case, need stuff off HD. Also have 2nd acer comp working fine. Can I get the files with the second comp? Or more preferable get first basic functional.

Screen unresponsive/frozen. FN works for back light switch. Cannot verify others. Unsure about touch pad/mouse. More info will be supplied as more tests get run. Or as the suggestions come in.
