I have AMD Phenom II X6 1090t BE CPU and M4A88-T M mobo.
On the startup i see the option of unlocking cores?
What is this, what is it's benefit?
Will this be overclocking?
Lol no. It's for people who bought x2 CPUs that were really x4s, or bought x4 CPUs that were really x6s. If you paid full price for a slow x6 it useless to you.
unlock core feature for use hidden core in CPU such AS default 555BE 2 cores in system , after active feature unlock core, it will show 4cores in system , see list all Procie had potential unlock core .. just reading http/www.cpu-world.com/info/AMD/Unlocking_cores_and_L3.html
- for Phenom X2 very benefit to get 4cores , but sometime no lucky .. maybe just get 3cores
- after active all cores can overclocked .. but will hotter than overclock default cores
hope can understand my moon language
