Too expensive! The SOC is more than an year old and it is already obsolete. The battery life isn't great. It will be big and thick.

I though the Eee series were supposed to be affordable for newcomers into the mobile computing world...

I like the slider idea. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but can see why they are charging this price, because the Transformer is close to this price.

I really do like it - in my eyes these hybrids are more useful/viable to consumers than a straight up tablet. Shame about the price - suppose you have to pay for how thin it is.

This is exactly the kind of thing my friends have been waiting for, and its good to know they're getting it.

I think this should get on board with the Tegra3 as soon as it is available in the Transformer 2 version.

Cool product, though I would have preferred ASUS wait to actually fit it with Tegra 3. The price still seems a little steep, too, and it's still carrying the seemingly traditional $100 difference between 16 and 32 GB models. I still don't understand that $100 difference... When 40-64 GB 1.8" SSDs are readily available to the public for around $120, it just makes no sense at all.

Looking forward to this product, but the price needs to drop a bit. I also agree with others who said it should come with Tegra3, especially for the quoted prices.
