I'm wondering if I can get a hhd bay to replace my disk drive in my laptop? I'd like to get a second Samsung evo 1tb, and a 256gb pro for os. That way I can have os/programs on one disk (840 pro), my original files on another disk (evo 1tb), and finalized files on another separate disk (2nd 840 evo)

Does anyone know if this will work?

Yes you sure can. You just need something like (http://hddcaddy.com/en/asus-hdd-caddy/501-asus-g750-hdd-caddy.html)

If you have any questions about it let me know.

Thanks for the answer. I have since question was asked brought back the asus. The cpu would overheat while rendering. I've tried jm js jz models and several in each model itself. All overheated. I've ended up with the msi gt70 dominator pro, now have 3 480gb msata and 1tb Samsung evo.
