The only flaw noticed on this Super Notebook PC is the lack of SLI capability as well as the inability to go above 8GB of RAM [16GB would be Ideal for the type of Processor on Board]. The use of two (2) SSD drives instead of HDD makes a lot more sense – though that would cost a lot more & the need for a Fire Wire port on Board. Personally – Three(3) audio ports & the feature of a 18.4” LED backlit 1920 x 1080 120Hz 3D display would just tip the scale beyond great to just pure ‘AWSOME. A better design astatically would be the icing on the cake (perhaps a Karim Rashid inspired look) . The need for a nine cell long life battery is definitely a must. Added accessories [Gaming mouse, 3D Glasses & Gaming Back pack & Gaming Headset [possible total cost $2,599.99 – $2,799.99]

G73 is currently one of the best gaming notebooks available;however,if you don't mind the looks and battery life,Sager NP8760 is a good alternative

I would love for ASUS to pick up this idea that is brought forward in the review that is at the bottom of my fist post on this issue. This i think would set them apart from thier competitors.

brother even that setup will be beaten by single gtx460 or 5850 desktop, laptops never made for gaming even gaming laptops, they are for just running the games, although these beast laptops enable gamers to play even on highest settings but please dont expect these hardcore abilities in a laptops as SLI or Crossfire setup in a laptop will be beaten by a single GPU same version thats why i consider them as total waste of money.

Gaming laptops have their cons (such as future upgradability) but they are hardly a waste. Some people (like myself) don't have the room for a desktop and others move or travel too much for a desktop to be an option. For us gaming laptops are a great form factor. As far as gaming goes, I have an Asus G72 and I've been able to play everything I've tried on high settings with no problems (though I primarily play WoW). The G73 is even better than the G72.
