Worked on this yesterday and it was fine, delivered and now have it back, will not Power ON. Before the first problem, unknown password, owner had replaced battery and charger. Indication yesterday was very low battery remaining on icon but also 10 hours left on charge. Very questionable. Base of laptop indicates 19 volt, charger is 19 volt, battery is 10.8 volt. Measured 19 volt with charger connected at MB interface to battery connector.
Tried holding Power button for 30 seconds with battery and charger disconnected, removed RAM, ran on charger only, replaced CMOS battery. The internal LED on the Power Button does not light. I measured some pins on the battery and the most I could find is 9.54 volts. This was plugged in over night so I would have thought it would be more. Also is 9.54 below the operating voltage and can it run on the charger alone? Noticed when the charger is connected the front panel Charge light is Not illuminated.

Hi,

You've pretty much tried all the possible troubleshooting steps that should have identified the problem or fixed it. Here few more steps that may help.
- Start by removing the battery off the laptop then connect it directly to it's AC adapter and see if it will boot up or not.
- If it will still not boot up, try a different AC adapter that has the same voltage with yours.
- And if all these additional steps will not work that means the problem is the motherboard. 🙁

You are correct, its the MB. I charged the battery on my RC Airplane charger and installed it into the laptop. It booted! Internal down regulator fried so battery will not charge and will not power from external charger. Owners decision now.
