Ok guys, since I havent find any proper solution anywehere and any workaround has worked so far, I had to come here. I'm starting to get desperated. The basic problem is that my ASUS K53SD (intel HD3000, Nvidia GT610M) does not properly choose Vvidia graphics card for playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Every time I run the game, it alternatively chooses the integrated chip, the Intel HD3000. This can be seen in the gamelog of these games.
These are the things I have already tried so far, with no success:
1.Manually add both games to NVIDIA control panel
2.Set NVIDIA card for globally running all applications, this can be also found in NVIDIA control panel.
3.Uninstall/reinstall NVIDIA graphic card drivers.
4. Disable Intel HD3000 chip on Device Manager.
5. Look in BIOS for some option to manually force NVIDIA card to be the primary and only one card, but unfortunately there isn't such option in my laptop BIOS.
6. Set Power options to High Performance.
Any other ideas?? Thanks in advance.
