Kind of an odd problem, I was about to take my laptop outside in the cold to diagnose my car, so I decided to disable my odd sata port where the hdd sits. In bios I'm able to disable various ports including the sata odd. But after disabling it the laptop never fired back up, it's just black screen. No beeps, no output to the screen, nothing.
I tried taking out mixing the ram modules, holding the power button for 60 seconds, disconnecting the cmos battery.
I think that the laptop should beep when there is no ram installed but it doesn't.
Any help would be appreciated.
