Asus Keyboard not working

My keyboard for my asus laptop isn't working. I've already uninstalled the keyboard driver and restarted, no results. I had a problem before with my keyboard not disabling when flipping my laptop into tablet configuration. I solved it by uninstalling the ATK driver and touchpad driver and installed the updated ones. Then my keyboard stopped working entirely 3 days later. I've already reset my laptop (still kept all files) in a last ditch effort to get the keyboard to work, still doesnt. Is there anything else I can try, or is it busted? I simply don't think its busted because it has always worked fine and went from 100% to unfunctional from sitting on the car seat to opening it 20 minutes later and nothing.

Have you tried an external keyboard to see if that will work fine?
