asus laptop keyboard problem

I just bought my laptop 5 months ago. now the problem is when I push the ''s'' it appear ''sw''.. ''r'' becomes ''r5'' ..''i'' become 'reload/refresh page'' .. ''6'' becomes ''6u''.
I have checked my language settings and they are set to U.S.. which they were before..
please help me!

Unfortunately yes. Laptop keyboards have to be replaced whole, but on the plus side, they are not that expensive, are easily available (not the original), and you can do it yourself quite easily if you want. However, if you get it replaced by the service center also, they are relatively cheap and takes hardly 15 minutes in the hands of a professional.

Most probably your keyboard has failed and it will only get worse from here. Since you have purchased it just 5 months ago, I assume it is still under warranty, so replace it ASAP. I had two ASUS (X and K series) and both developed keyboard problems, a few days after the warranty expired, so I had to replace them by paying cold hard cash.
You are not that unlucky, so run to the nearest ASUS service centre :)
