Asus laptop not turning on. New adapter n new battery.

the laptop doesn't power on without a battery.the light which would indicate that the laptop is plugged into the ac adapter is not on when the ac adapter is plugged in.the battery charge light is also not on, which would indicate the battery is being charged.
The battery does not charge.
The battery is also new and works fine.

it's possible there is a short that is causing your laptop to no longer charge.
make sure the battery and adapter are OEM ( original ASUS manufactured ) and not cheap asian knockoffs ( these usually cause more problems than they fix)

also check your power jack and make sure it is not loose. a Loose power jack could mean that the connection has been broken so the unit is not getting any power.

they both are original asus manufactured products.

Actually when i placed new battery. It had some charge of 25% laptop worked fine. When connected adapter to charge,it showed pluged in charging. But it didnt charge. And after the charge was over laptop switched off

Obviously, your adapter is bad,or Or poor contact.
what's the specific model number of your computer.

if all your parts are OEM, then it sounds like a connection problem somewhere.

Hi, like penguintech said "a Loose power jack could mean that the connection has been broken so the unit is not getting any power". The laptop must be open to search for a defective component, this is the reason you don't have any power from the adapter to the motherboard.
