Asus laptop starts for a split second then shuts down.

Hello guys,

Recently i was working with VmWare and suddenly i got a blue screen (dont remember what it said) rebooted laptop, again bluescreen. Installed a new version of windows and cleared my whole pc, cuz it was running really slow, i mean like really slow. Couldnt even start chrome or anything. Now my laptop doesnt start at all. When i push the power button the only thing what happens is the van turning on for a split sec and then turing off again. The light on the powerbutton is working and thats it. Laptop is a asus r700v series

Hi, It sounds like you may have a short circuit. Is there any loose parts you can hear in the laptop?
