Asus laptop with vista usb hardware problems

Hi there, I have a problem with my x50rl in that it won`t recognise any usb flash drive, i get a message saying hardware id missing. anyone got any ideas?

Try going to Asus' support site and downloading the chipset. Re-installing the chipset should refresh the USB controllers.
