Asus Memo Pad HD7 Touchscreen not working.....HELP!

Ready to throw this in the trash. I have tried turning it off and on, factory reset and the touchscreen still does not work. The only screen that comes up is the initial set up screen, English language, but the touchscreen doesn't work. So I'm back to square 1. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Any help is appreciated.
