ASUS Model Number VA70 Webcam Issue

My girlfriend has the above model and her webcam has stopped working. When we Skype the webcam just cuts off and we can't seem to get it working again. She took it to a local repair shop and they "cleaned" it and since then this has been happening. I am not sure what to do to get it up and running as I don't have the laptop with me....She is dropping it off Thursday and would like some suggestions please?

Reinstalling the driver for your webcam should do the trick. Here's the link for Asus support site where you can get the latest driver for your webcam.

You just need to key in the Model number of your laptop or you can click on automatic search were it should give you all the drivers for your laptop.
