Asus model Q50 2L - turn off backlit keyboard for good.

My backlit keyboard turns on arbitrarily while I'm using the computer. How do i turn it off for good outside of the f3 key? I have to turn it off numerous times while using it.

Hi,

I've checked all the manuals of your laptop and it doesn't say anything about turning off the keyboard backlight off. It would just say that it will increase and decrease the backlight by pressing fn+F3 to decrease and fn+F4 to increase it.

Do also try installing this ATK driver that might help in solving that issue where it turns on by itself.
