Does anyone know if the optical is connected via SATA 3 for the ASUS N550JX-TH72T?

I'm thinking about buying this but only if I can install an HDD caddy that accepts SATA III.

You can use a HDD caddy for your laptop since it uses a standard SATA port where all other HDD should work just fine.
