asus rog g-series vs msi gt70

How much cooler is the asus rog laptop compared to the gt70 dragon edition? Thats pretty much all im worried about. I dont wat it to melt in a week

Hard to say, I've only been hands on with a couple of the MSI laptops, one guy returned his because of heat and a wireless issue, the other just wasn't pleased with performance....have a few clients with Asus Rog laptops and all are rather happy with them

after seeing there is a 15", the GT60 model, im pretty interested int hat now because of the size and power. Plus I can get it used for 120$ cheaper through amazon's department. It only comes with one ram stick though which is 8gb 1600mhz. Is that alright?

the smaller the laptop is the hotter it is.
Asus Rog are without a doubt the ones that run the coolest.

Most agree that 8GB is perfectly fine for gaming, I'd go w/ 16 if possible, DRAM use in games (and everything else continues to rise, so for longevity, 16 may be an option to consider
