Asus touchpad not working

I have an Asus UX360CA "Zenbook flip" and recently my touchpad stopped working in the middle of use. The first problem I noticed was that the touchpad no longer showed up in device manager. Here are the solutions I've tried...

1. Fn+F9 (no response at all)

2. Uninstall and reinstall driver (I get an error saying "There is a problem with this this Windows Installer Package...")

3. Fresh install of Windows 10 (All drivers are present but device is still missing and it wont work)

This is very frustrating so any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if the touchpad is no longer showing then there might be something wrong with the hardware itself.if its still under warranty i suggest sending it back.

I will probably have to end up doing that. I've seen on some other threads about people who have been able to fix this so i'd like to see if there is anything else

I'm just now seeing you response. LOL!
It turns out that sometime in May my zenbook fell off my desk and now the touchpad works XD
